Athletic Strength and Conditioning

At COBALT, we borrow from the world of elite athletics to design and administer safe physical readiness programs that improve the combat effectiveness of service members. Our world-class military athletic programs prevent injuries and speed recovery. We achieve results by focusing on each soldier’s strength, mobility, endurance, agility, and power.


Military athletic strength and conditioning services from COBALT include:

 

  • Certified Strength and Conditioning (CSCS) Training. Includes supervision and execution of injury rehabilitation, core strength building, power development, and anaerobic endurance.
  • Certified Athletic (ATC) Training. Includes recognition, initial assessment, immediate care, and onsite management of musculoskeletal injuries. 
  • Physical and Occupational Therapy Education and Training. Includes evaluation, assessment, and development of rehabilitation and performance programs.
  • Injury Prevention and Recovery Education. Individual and group programs including specific exercises, drills, and self-management strategies.

 

Human Performance Optimization

Total force fitness drives the holistic approach of our Human Performance Optimization (HPO) programs. We have designed and administered multiple high-visibility HPO programs for the Army, Air Force, and Air National Guard. We use structured methodologies and processes to integrate multiple dimensions of the individual soldier’s health and well-being, such as: 

  • Physical fitness
  • Mental health
  • Cognitive coping
  • Good nutrition
  • Good sleep and rest
  • Injury prevention
  • Biomechanical education
